Green Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Using Citrus Peel Extract

Abstract

Zinc oxide nanoparticles averaging 38 nm were produced using aqueous citrus peel extract as a reducing and capping agent. The particles showed strong photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue under visible light.
